TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Hire Period

The period of hire of the Goods shall commence on the date on which you take possession or on delivery of the Goods to the address requested by you. We take no responsibility and give no warranty for the suitability of the use of the goods and it’s the customer’s responsibility to be satisfied with the condition of the furniture before agreeing to hire them.

2. Title

Rentrex always remains the owner and true title holder of the goods. The customer holds the goods as hirer only during the hire period. If the furniture is sold to you, ownership of the furniture will remain with Rentrex until all outstanding amounts by you are paid in full. You are not entitled to transfer the possession of goods while in your possession.

3. Hire Fees

Hirer must pay to Rentrex as decided by both the parties during finalizing the transaction.

4. Delivery and Return

Upon delivery, collection or return of the furniture, hirer must check the quality and quantity delivered (or returned). If there are any discrepancies between the furniture delivered and the quoted order, the hirer must record them at the time of delivery or collection and notify to Rentrex as soon as possible in written.

5. Duties of the hirer

Hirer must: a) keep the furniture in proper working order and condition; b) store the furniture safely and protected from theft, seizure, loss or damage; c) not remove any label, identifying mark or safety instruction from the furniture; d) not remove the furniture from the location described in the quotation; e) allow us (or our nominated person) at any time during the hire period to enter the premises where the furniture is kept to inspect the furniture; e) notify us immediately if there is any loss or damage; f) if furniture is damaged (other than usual wear and tear), hirer must compensate Rentrex for the cost of repair; g) if the furniture is lost or damaged beyond repair, hirer must pay Rentrex the new replacement cost of the furniture.

6. Termination

Without affecting any other rights, Rentrex is entitled to terminate the agreement between you and Rentrex at any time without prior notification on the hirer infringing the terms of this contract.

7. The matters that are not mentioned on the website shall be governed by the provisions of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.
